‘Making a difference’ social impact film.

Problem

Our objectives are twofold: first, to enhance colleague awareness and involvement in social value initiatives, emphasising that each individual plays a part in advancing this cause, even if their contributions are not always immediately apparent. Second, to showcase and disseminate the groups social purpose and responsible business principles to both internal and external stakeholders, thereby positioning our Group as a leader in social impact delivery.

Solution

We leveraged the power of storytelling by crafting a script that aligned with our brand’s unique selling proposition (USP) - “making a difference...makes us different.” Although the pandemic disrupted our ability to film and our customers in the context of our places, and highlight the positive outcomes achieved through our social impact initiatives, we turned to colleagues from across the organisation to narrate our story instead. By combining this with existing project footage and photography we were able to demonstrate our social impact “in action,” producing a compelling visual narrative that resonated with colleagues and amplified our brand through our digital channels.
